Hey Guys, I'm finally back from the hunting ranch. I had a great time, but the best part of all is....................I SHOT AN AXIS BUCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I'm so excited. This is the first time I've ever seen an axis that wasnt in a small enclosure. I'm getting the skin tanned and I'm going to do a European mount with the head! We also went spearfishing in the medina river and wrecked havoc on the local catfish population. Fun Fun Fun.

For those of you who don't know, an axis is what is known as an "exotic" game animal, and are much less common than your everyday whitetail deer.

Man I wish I could get off tomarrow. That would be so amazing!!!!! I still can't believe he's going to jump out of a plane but is to scared to attempt a flip off of a diving board.:):):)

JC: I know, he's nuts. I've been sending him death texts all morning. Stuff like "Nice Knowing You," "I'll tell your mom you loved her," When... er.... I mean if you die can I have your boat," etc. Too bad you couldn't go. There's know way I could attempt that after my back. The thought of jumping out of a perfectly good airplane is just too much. I'll talk to my parents about helping ya'll out. We'll see. There's still a lot of work I need to do around here.
Missy: It's manifest destiny. Just doing my part to keep the food chain in the right order. Not to mention a certain verse that goes something like "Thou shalt take dominion over the fish of the sea (Bass, Catfish, Gar, trout, salmon etc.), birds of the air (Ducks, dove, turkeys, pheasants), and every living creature that walks on the ground (Deer, hogs, coyotes, elk, bear, Jack-rabbits, varmints in general, and the list goes on)." The deer up there are as thick as mosquitoes down here. They needed a little thinning out.
We won't need you full time. Just alittle here and there. We'll really need you when we sheetrock the ceiling of the entire living room area. He won't need you full time till August when I leave again for F.C. BTW, next time ya'll work at a ranch like that. Lemme know and I might tag along if I can. Good grief, getting paid to do all that... Unimaginable. Almost as crazy a getting payed to play b-ball.
Tommy came over today and showed me his skydiving video. I'm going next time.
