Let's broaden our scopes

Hey guys, how did ya'll like playing gloveball and ultimate frisbee on Easter? Where did ya'll play gloveball?

What would ya'll think about supplementing soccer on sundays with ultimate frisbee and gloveball? We could do gloveball when there aren't as many people as usual (since it works better in somewhat smaller numbers), and ultimate frisbee when there are more people than usual (since it works better with more people). I'm not saying we should eliminate soccer, but just supplement it so as to widen the HBF youth skill variety. Let me know what ya'll think.

I'm cool with that. I know my ultimate skills could definitely use some sharpening. :) Actually, they're non existent so I should re-phrase that to, I need to acquire some ultimate skills. :)

I'm not to great at ultimate either. It's definately my weak sport. But I was pretty bad at soccer before we started playing it too. I think after a while everyone will get better and will enjoy it even more.

Peter, do you hate ultimate frisbee or are you just not very good at it?

yeah, sounds good John.

The people who don't want to play ultimate can always play glove-ball because, as stated earlier, you can play it with less people (and its more fun that way anyhow).

Okay I STINK at frisbee and I totally hate it!!!!! I LOVE glove ball and soccor (though my skills in both are very limited!). I can't throw a frisbee more then like 15 ft and I stink at catching. But I guess I could give it a try!

I love Ultimate. Everybody who has a frisbee bring one this sunday. No wait nevermind I may not be there this sunday. Next sunday everybody brign frisbees, in case someone forgets. Ultimate is so much fun! John, did you play ultimate at Summit? The staff guy Matt, can throw a frisbee like ALL the way across the field we were playing on, It was amazing!

I did play at summit, it was a lot of fun. I can only play defense, but it was still fun. And guys we would NOT be playing it every sunday! IT would maybe be once every two or three months! And just for the record, anybody who can move can play defense in ultimate frisbee. All you have to do is keep the other team from catching the frisbee, just knock it down to the ground, that's it. That's why I love defense so much!

Well, I don't like playing ultimate frisbee because I never get the frisbee, but soccer is getting boring, but I really like gloveball.
